Crams Custom Saddlery
THE MAKER
Crams Custom Saddlery is owned and operated by Brady Cram at his home in Bedford, Wyoming. Being raised around the communities of Star Valley and Jackson Hole he found access to the natural beauty of the area as well as its abundance of quality craftsmanship and artistic expression. He chose to start developing his own talents as an artist while in school by taking art classes through junior high and high school where he focused largely on wildlife and landscape. After graduating he spent several years apprenticing as a cabinet and furniture maker. As a budding craftsman and lifelong horse enthusiast, Brady began to take a keen interest in high end horse tack. He found his skillset translated well to leathercraft and while attending college he built some of his own gear and even began to sell a few pieces. Even though he wasn’t in a position to seek an apprenticeship opportunity at the time, he felt a strong pull and became a student of saddle making, devouring the instructional resources made available by many of today’s top saddle makers. The list of artists, craftsmen, and horsemen that have guided Brady’s work through information, critiques, and affirmation is long and continues to grow.
In 2013 Brady officially established Crams Custom Saddlery. In building his business he has built a portfolio of work that can speak for itself, built a solid reputation established by satisfied customers, and built a home for Crams Custom Saddlery. He is excited to continue to grow and produce gear with value greatly exceeding its price.
